yes, but..
PLD is developed by developers maintly for developers.
and - only few developers have amd64 architecture ;)
and nobody from them have a time for creating "true" installer ;)
next - some applications aren't still available for 64bit architecture -
for example - flash, java plugin etc..
so - it's still more "devel" version than other ix86.
but - now i have 3 machines with athlon64 and it's count still will grow

pld is fully 64bit ;)
so - there is no 32bit applications..
