When I try to use dialog, i.e.

echo "dialog --inputbox 'Enter a value:' 10         70>$TmpFile">$DlgTmpFile
sh $DlgTmpFile
Value=$(cat $TmpFile)
rm $TmpFile
rm $DlgTmpFile

(Sorry, linebreaks are totally wrong due to the web form)

Then the output in $Value is:

Please check the compile options and update the package, because in this state it is totally unusuable.
