current fvwm2 running on alpha
remote login on ia32 machine (tried several) via ssh -X
remote start of OpenOffice 1.0 (also tried previous snapshot)
OpenOffice logo is displayed halfway off screen
Any attempt to use a drop down menu either from the main menue bar or e.g. for font selection fails. Functionality seems present though, e.g the Short Cuts work. Now drop down menue is displayed, although e.g. the File Open (via the Icon) works.

The exactly same procedure with twm or WindowMaker works as excpeted, i.e. the Logo is displayed centered on the screen and the drop down menues are present.

xfig and xmgr do not exhibit this problem, so it is probably specific to the OpenOffice widget set.

fvwm2 on ia32 (also ssh -X to other ia32) does not exhibit this problem.
