Title: Upgrade messes up http.conf
Ticket ID: #645
Ticket URL: http://bugs.pld.org.pl/?bug=645
Package: apache-5:1.3.27-3
Distribution: PLD-1.0.main
Category: bug in rpm's scripts
Current state: opened
Text:
Running the security update gives the following output:
[activating module `access' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `alias' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `asis' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `autoindex' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `cern_meta' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `cgi' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `env' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `include' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `log_agent' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `log_config' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `log_referer' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `mime_magic' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `mime' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `negotiation' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `setenvif' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `speling' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
[activating module `userdir' in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf]
Several of these I deactived on purpose, so why is the update reactivating it?
Looking at the /etc/httpd directory, I see
# ls -ltr httpd.conf*
-rw-r----- 1 root root 29281 Jan 30 09:51 httpd.conf~
-rw-r----- 1 root root 29225 Apr 24 10:22 http.conf.bak
-rw-r----- 1 root root 29225 Apr 24 10:22 httpd.conf
and http.conf.bak is the same as httpd.conf.
I think an update should preserve my configuration.
