On my Athlon 1700+ XP, in a shuttle XPC computer, booting with grub, the kernel
won't boot: it says "Uncompressing linux... Ok, booting kernel", then hangs.
Hard reboot neccesary.  The i686 version does the same, but kernels for i586
work fine (this happens with 2.4.18 as well;  I haven't tried 2.5.59 for i586
as there's none in ftp.nest.pld.pl for it)
