Title: "-t help" behavior and tips in config file and gpm manual page
Ticket ID:     #830
Ticket URL:    http://bugs.pld-linux.org/?bug=830
Package:       gpm-PLD-AC
Distribution:
Category:      unknown
Current state: opened
Text:

In /etc/sysconfig/mouse we can find the following line:

# Mouse type (ms, msc, ps2, ...) Use "gpm -t help" for detailed list

but the tip doesn't work:
# gpm -t help
O0o.oops(): [server_tools.c(88)]: Use -m device -t protocol [-o options]!

However
# gpm -m foo -t help
works fine.

You may also consider changing the description of -t option in
the man page.
