Title: What is "kernelverser"?
Ticket ID: #808
Ticket URL: http://bugs.pld-linux.org/?bug=808
Package: alsa-utils-1.0.1-1
Distribution:
Category: doesn't work as it should
Current state: opened
Text:

Version built from CVS.
I /etc/rc.d/init.d/alsasound script (also in pre-1.0.0 versions) there is a call to something called "kernelverser" (line 35: if [ $(kernelverser) = "002006" ]; then). What is this? I cannot find it in any package in RA 1.0/1.1. I also tried google - without results. Everytime I'm running this script, I'me getting error, that this "kernelverser" could not be found. It is not critical. I jus doesn't work as it should.

Greetings and thanks for good job.
