This might not effect PLD, but SuSE-SA:2003:047 states:
    - xscreensaver
      The well known screen-saver for X is vulnerable to several local
      tmp file attacks as well as a crash when verifying a password.
      Only SuSE Linux 9.0 products are affected.
      The new packages are available on our FTP servers.
