Project: PLD 2.x (Ac)
Summary: Dependencies in new rpms
Task Type: Bug Report
Category: rpm-build
** Status: Waiting on Customer
Operating System: All
** Severity: Medium
Priority Normal
Reported Version: 1:4.3-0.20040107.8
Due in Version:
Percent Complete: 0
Details: Created rpms sometimes depends on the previous, already
installed versions of packages. An example.
I've just built a mplayer package, using my own spec file. The
auto-dependencies scripts, made it depended on the older version of
mplayer, that was installed there. The same situation was in case of
mozilla-firefox, builded from pld spec file. It was depended on the
mozilla-firebird, that was installed in my computer. To remove this
dependence one must remove package before new is made.
