  Comment: Problem leży w relatywnych symlinkach w /usr/X11R6/lib/X11.
m.in. do xkb. Zamiana:
ln -s ../../../../etc/X11/xkb xkb
na:
ln -sf /etc/X11/xkb xkb
rozwiązuje problem. U mnie pojawiło się to po przejściu na
X11-...-6.9.0-9.
