Summary: poldek doesn't let you --install older package
           Product: poldek
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: PLD Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: normal
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: mis at pld-linux.org
        ReportedBy: glen at pld-linux.org
   Estimated Hours: 0.0

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.5; Linux; en_US)
KHTML/3.5.9 (like Gecko) PLD/2.0 (Ac)
Build Identifier: poldek-0.21-0.20070703.00.17.amd64

i want to install (add package not removing any installed ones) older kernel
package. but poldek fails:

# rpm -q kernel-smp
kernel-smp-2.6.16.60-1.amd64

# poldek -i kernel-smp-2.6.16.57-1.amd64 --downgrade
error: '--install' and '--downgrade' options are exclusive

however rpm allows this operation:

# rpm -ihv kernel-smp-2.6.16.57-1.amd64.rpm --test
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
package kernel-smp-2.6.16.60-1 (which is newer than
kernel-smp-2.6.16.57-1) is already installed

# rpm -ihv kernel-smp-2.6.16.57-1.amd64.rpm --downgrade
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
   1:kernel-smp ########################################### [100%]

# rpm -q kernel-smp
kernel-smp-2.6.16.60-1.amd64
kernel-smp-2.6.16.57-1.amd64

Reproducible: Always
