[Bug 359718] [NEW] can't generate initrd with geninitrd-10000.10-2.noarch (lvm problem)

[20:35 root at dzibutti:/boot]# geninitrd /boot/initrd-2.6.29.1_nogrsecuritynoaapae-0.2.gz1 2.6.29.1_nogrsecuritynoaapae-0.2
geninitrd: ERROR: Can't determine LVM tools version. Please set LVMTOOLSVERSION and rerun geninitrd.

no initrd file is created.

After installing lvm2 - it generates initrd fine, without error.

/etc/sysconfig/geninitrd:
BASICMODULES="sd_mod libata ahci ata_piix"               
PREMODS="xfs"
COMPRESS=yes
USE_SUSPEND=no
USE_TUXONICE=no
