[Bug 637843] [NEW] gdb asserts on static thread-local variable

gdb bug reported as http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11803
makes gdb to assert every time when gdb is trying to access thread local
static variable. This causes makes all gdb frontends (kdevelop,
codeblocks, nemiver) unusable.

Attached patch fixes this.
