Nice idea but what we should about this? :) We can waste our time on creating such patches etc there are more important things to do. Of course if such patches already exist we should apply them :) EOF > ?ukasz Dobrek -- Arkadiusz Mi?kiewicz, AM2-6BONE [ PLD GNU/Linux IPv6 ] http://www.t17.ds.pwr.wroc.pl/~misiek/ipv6/ [ enabled ] From jajcus at pld.org.pl Sun Jan 28 12:37:36 2001 From: jajcus at pld.org.pl (Jacek Konieczny) Date: Sun, 28 Jan 2001 12:37:36 +0100 Subject: user games in setup Message-ID: <20010128123735.A3839@nic.nigdzie> Why does the "games" user have gid 100 (there is even no such group defined in PLD) instead of 20 (games gid)? I am just preparing crossfire server. I don't want to create new user/group for it, so I would like it to be started as "games" user. It would have access to files as "games" group (I don't wont "games" user to be owner of anything it won't create). Should I try to fix the setup package? Or should I better create crossfire user and group? I was installing with wuch, on machine w/ 32MB RAM.
