bce capability in xterm-xfree86

infocmp xterm-xfree86 shows bce capability. I have two questions:
  1) what terminal (beside gnome terminal from gnome2) use xterm-xfree86
  2) what does exactly bce mean (any terminfo wizard here?)

I ask it, bacause gnome-terminal doesn't seem to support it (at least
search option in otak, that is implemented using ncurses functions
only, clutters the screen iff the option is present).

I suggest removing it from our terminfo.
