Static, Alternative Routes, Dead Gateway Detection, NAT patches for kernel

Can our kernel Guru look at this patches (for kernels 2.4 and 2.6):

Generally this patches are very useful if you use more than one connection to 
internet and you want setup some kind of loadbalancing with this:
ip route add default table xxx proto static \
 nexthop via GWE1 dev IFE1 \
 nexthop via GWE2 dev IFE2
Our distribution kernel (I use 2.4.26) has problems without this patches with 
NATed connections ....
