Cieciwa znalaz? > b??d, wi?c go naprawi?, podobnie by?o ostatnio z b??dem zwi?zanym z > logrotate, nikt nikogo nie pyta? o to "czy to naprawia?" I'm replying to several messages now, not just yours one. First, when speaking (first) on English list and (second) about subject involving non-Polish speaker, use English. (I'm CCing -pl now, so all people interested will see this - but please follow just on -en) Second - to state what this thread is about: http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/embeddedperl.html This is official Nagios feature. Using it has some advantages and disadvantages. When enabled at build time, it can be disabled at runtime in several ways (either globally in Nagios configuration, or per-script) - there stays only some (small for modern systems) memory footprint. When disabled at build time, it can't be enabled at runtime. Globally disabling some feature, which - if problematic - can be disabled locally is hardly "fixing a bug". And finally - if cieciwa would just tell, WHICH script is incompatible with ePN, then the bug could be fixed at its source or at least identified. If many scripts are problematic, we could ship Nagios with epn configured in such way, that it requires +epn marker in ePN-compatible scripts and then mark with it all shipped scripts which are compatible. -- Jakub Bogusz http://qboosh.pl/ From marcin.rybak at gmail.com Tue Feb 7 23:31:52 2012 From: marcin.rybak at gmail.com (Marcin Rybak) Date: Tue, 7 Feb 2012 23:31:52 +0100 Subject: packages: nagios/nagios.spec - bcond embeded perl chsanged. Succession of these modules matter. There are more logic swtiches like [NOTFOUND=return]. You also add/remove it in comments. Even if some module missing but is in config all works, that was dafault for years. What with upgrade to glibc 2.15, where nss_db is present? It is critical system service, just leave logic in it to admin. > in that case all %post/%preun actions from openldap.spec should be > removed too? And that is exactly how that is supposed to work (but probably not what the change author wanted). Charset defined in the Content-Type HTTP header takes precedence over anything else, especially the tag in the HTML. In the ideal world would never be used for this purpose and 'charset' in Content-Type should be set, but in the real world many rely on the tag and forcing charset into the Content-Type header only breaks things. Because most people do not understand this option, the Content-Type header and the '' tag.
