it can happen if previous script loaded rc-script functions,
but you already know depending on that is bullshit
xinitrc-ng DOES NOT load rc-script functions:
$ rpm -q xinitrc-ng --requires | grep rc-scripts -c
0
$ rpm -q xinitrc-ng -l|xargs grep rc-scripts | wc -l
0
EOF
