use kernel-longterm (3.4) until then.

i tried to reproduce it in virtualbox-i686 3.7.x kernel, and it did not 
occour there, perhaps it's also related to video driver? or it's x86-64 
specific? what does your chrome://sandbox/ say on the crashing system?

for me system where x86-64 3.7.x give oops page, with 3.4 kernel same 
chromium gives:
