linux kernel binutils vs FSF binutils

From Fedora binutils.spec:

# Note - the Linux Kernel binutils releases are too unstable and contain too
# many controversial patches so we stick with the official FSF version
# instead.


Do we want to follow?

Our current binutils hang (assembler hangs) when building gcc 4.9.1 for 
example and inddeed - there was no release for long time.
