I've finally gave up, removed chromium, rebuild and installed chrome and that's it. It works at least now. That's why it's not working. Am I wrong? it should be possible to build with h264, ianal, but imho pld can distribute build with h264 enabled, seems our current build works partway (reports media types being present but no code handler) so apparently some other flag is off as well. and it worked earlier versions, not sure when it got broken. -- glen From draenog at pld-linux.org Fri Sep 12 18:53:29 2014 From: draenog at pld-linux.org (Kacper Kornet) Date: Fri, 12 Sep 2014 18:53:29 +0200 Subject: Fuzz in patch Message-ID: <20140912165329.GA11427@camk.edu.pl> Would someone protest if the patch during rpm buld run with "--fuzz 0" and without "-s" option? Why not another flag? --queryformatfile? --qff? Because rpm has way way way too many option flags already. The problem in need of solution is that rpmpopt is not the right data store for very complex multiline aliases that can chain through multiple aliases. The store in /usr/lib/rpm/qf is (so far) easier to maintain. But add a -qff (or any other option) to rpm if you wish. 73 de Jeff From n3npq at me.com Thu Sep 18 19:46:34 2014 From: n3npq at me.com (Jeffrey Johnson) Date: Thu, 18 Sep 2014 13:46:34 -0400 Subject: rpm --qf / nonsense In-Reply-To: <2DAC23CA-274C-4DF5-B03E-1B1AF07BBA8C@nbtsc.org> References: <541AFEE6.6050704@pld-linux.org> <6F9FED10-674D-43BD-B31C-59D06BEBDA3C@me.com> <593E630D-6F1E-4104-BAA7-8F1CA142F82C@me.com> <2DAC23CA-274C-4DF5-B03E-1B1AF07BBA8C@nbtsc.org> Message-ID: On Sep 18, 2014, at 12:59 PM, Aria Stewart wrote: > > On Sep 18, 2014, at 9:55 AM, Jeffrey Johnson wrote: >> There is an attempt to read long complicated queryformats >> from /usr/lib/rpm/qf/* based on whether the 1st character >> starts with a '/'. Possible workarounds: - pass X server path to avoid adding vt number: startx -- /usr/bin/Xwrapper - pass other vt explicitly, e.g.: startx -- vt10 (may need to give tty privileges to user) Also note, that with KMS it's possible to start non-suid Xserver (without Xwrapper), e.g. startx -- /usr/bin/X vt10 but the user needs access to vt and possibly other devices (like /dev/psaux for PS/2 mouse). -- Jakub Bogusz http://qboosh.pl/ From n3npq at me.com Thu Sep 18 22:13:37 2014 From: n3npq at me.com (Jeffrey Johnson) Date: Thu, 18 Sep 2014 16:13:37 -0400 Subject: rpm --qf / nonsense In-Reply-To: <541B28F4.3030606@pld-linux.org> References: <541AFEE6.6050704@pld-linux.org> <6F9FED10-674D-43BD-B31C-59D06BEBDA3C@me.com> <593E630D-6F1E-4104-BAA7-8F1CA142F82C@me.com> <2DAC23CA-274C-4DF5-B03E-1B1AF07BBA8C@nbtsc.org> <541B28F4.3030606@pld-linux.org> Message-ID: On Sep 18, 2014, at 2:48 PM, Elan Ruusam?e wrote: > On 18.09.2014 20:46, Jeffrey Johnson wrote: >> Patch to check a lead-in of "@/" attached. > "@"-special is as lame as "/"-special to me, Then patch out the code in lib/poptQV.c. Not really. I see. My SSH keys removal was also part of normal operations/cleanup? I'm just curious. Anyway. I wonder what was/is the problem with it. From what I remember it was always that way. As mentioned I had access there and I remember adding my hosts to rsync acls when I was keeping CVS/SVN mirrors years ago. Unfortunately my ssh keys were removed so I can't check how it is configured now. Anyway... I want this access to be officially accepted to be sure it won't vanish during next "normal operations/cleanup". M. I wonder what was/is the problem with it. So... Any chances to get that ACL done? Come on guys, it will take about 30 seconds. Or just put my SSH keys back there and I'll add it myself (and no, I won't restore TLD builder ACL for tagging). M. Thanks for your prompt response to my request (sarcasm intended). Note to baggins (or repo admins): you are free to perform further git cleanup and remove all remaining pollution (all auto/ti/ tags). In fact I'm asking you to do so. No joking here, really, I want them gone. I want every single bit of TLD related stuff to be removed from PLD packages git repository. Regards, M. Thanks for your prompt response to my request (sarcasm intended). I do have a life beside PLD and was AF(private mail) for a week. But it wouldn't work anyway, as rsync ACLs are IP based. > Note to baggins (or repo admins): you are free to perform further git > cleanup and remove all remaining pollution (all auto/ti/ tags).
