Without refreshed libtool as-needed linker options don't work (they appear
after libraries in link command) and libXv gets some unnecessary NEEDED
entries (libXau.so.6, libXdmcp.so.6, libxcb.so.1 currently).

The disks I mentioned few months ago, finally died, got replaced over 
the weekend, fs was corrupted a little.

But I would expect only occasional missing/corrupted files and not wide 
and consistent files range gone.

I'll try to look at this on the weekend.

I *may* have full backup. Been rsyncing all repos to my NAS ;)

on a related note fetchsrc_request.sh script does not seem to work. did:

$ ./fetchsrc_request.sh mediastreamer
Requesting mediastreamer:refs/heads/master via /usr/sbin/sendmail

a couple of times but source is not getting fetched.

Perhaps because no newly built package landed on ftp after that date.

Classic problem. -ENOSPC on ftp.

Did some cleanup.
I have a plan how to fix this long term. more details soon.

How about lists?

There were also July to November archives missing short after
restoration - now I can't check due to web interface not working...
