Jak kompilowac na starym gcc ????

Witam,

Wiem, że to może trochę nie na temat, ale ......

Jest pakiet [RasMol2{56}] który wymaga pliku <sys/termio.h>
Niby plik ten [[termio.h] się znajduje w systemie ale jest jako
/usr/include/termio.h 
ale próba jego użycia kończy się masą komunikatów o błędach :((
Próba kompilacji na SUNie poszła, z czego wnoszę, że problem jest gdzies u
mnie...

I tu jest moje pytanie:
Jak zainstalować egcs tak, aby działało gcc ???
Tzn. aby pozostał nagłówki.
