[AC] Zwalony thunderbird?

$ thunderbird
Error: Failed to send command: 500 command not parseable

Co ciekawe - dorzucenie w skrypcie startowym thunderbirda "set -x" 
powoduje, że uruchamia się on, choć nie do końca pracuje tak jak powinien.

Czy ktoś się z tym spotkał? Jakieś rozwiązanie?

P.S.: uprzedzając - katalog ~/.thunderbird/ usuwałem, to nie to.
