Is there a greater idea behind this? Behind upgrading to 8.10? AFAIK
we are using xorg 7.4 (xserver 1.5.x) and that driver still isn't
compatible with the new ABI. There's already a 8.11 driver which is
compatible... the thing is, it was developed in cooperation with
ubuntu folks and i don't know if it's yet available publicly.
