Which one?
No (serious) problems for me with tdfxfb on 2.6.15 (~vanilla) and rivafb
on 2.6.16.18 (PLDish).
On rivafb sometimes some small red junk at cursor position appears
after printing some weird stuff (usually binary file), disappears after
switching vts.
