I read about diffrent ideas of installers. And I have one idea too (maybe 
someone will take it into consideration):

Installer should be able to load plugins - in fact it should be some base 
program which load plugins for everything. Plugins could be diffrent types - 
for downloading, installing, partitioning etc. On the top of these plugings 
other UI/GUI plugins should exists, so there should be no inner diffrence 
between installing with cursed/text/fb or GUI version. Whole installation 
process should be controlled by some xml file which will be diffrent on 
diffrent installation types (cds, network).

I was thinking about writting it in Qt 4 - there are many needed 
functionalities already included (like plugins, xml, gui and others). 
Besides it's very mature software, easy to learn and good fast writting.
