I have created a PLD rescue USB stick according to the procedure: http://readme.maven.pl/2007/11/03/booting-plddos-from-usb-pendrive/ It first shows a broken logo with misaligned texts. The boot itself can be done without a problem. I can see the right splash when booted from rescue CDROM. Or I can preview it on a UTF-8 capable terminal as follows: $ iconv -f cp437 boot.msg I tried both VMware Fusion and VirtualBox on El Capitan. Same broken splashes in both cases. What is wrong? Thank you. -- Hiroki Horiuchi from Japan From baggins at pld-linux.org Fri Apr 14 17:40:26 2017 From: baggins at pld-linux.org (Jan =?utf-8?Q?R=C4=99korajski?=) Date: Fri, 14 Apr 2017 17:40:26 +0200 Subject: Th: Packages scheduled for removal Message-ID: <20170414154026.GA10175@home> The packages below will be removed from Th until someone steps up and fixes / updates them.
