PostgreSQL 7.1 - postgresql.init

> No to pozostaje:
>    rm -rf /var/lib/pgsql
>    chmod 777 /var/lib
>    su postgres
>    initdb --pgdata /var/lib/pgsql
>    ^D                 # z powrotem na roota
>    chmod 755 /var/lib # czy jakie tam wczesniej miales uprawnienia

Zrobiłem tak i initdb zadziałał :) Ale potem przy startowaniu postgresa
dostaję:

[root w warp aflinta]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql start
This database system will be initialized with username "postgres".
This user will own all the data files and must also own the server
process.

initdb: The directory /var/lib/pgsql exists but is not empty.
If you want to create a new database system, either remove or empty
the directory /var/lib/pgsql or run initdb with
an argument other than /var/lib/pgsql.
Uruchomienie uslugi PostgreSQL.....................................[
ZROBIONE ]

Pomimo, że w środku siedzi poprawnie zainicjalizowana baza, postmaster
wydaje się być uruchomiony, ale mam taki objaw:

[aflinta w warp aflinta]$ psql
psql: pqReadData() -- backend closed the channel unexpectedly.
	This probably means the backend terminated abnormally
	before or while processing the request.

Ten 7.1 jest chyba zwalony, może jak zamienię na 7.1.1 to będzie chodzić. 

A tak swoją drogą to kto może zmodyfikować tego PAM'a aby nie śmiecił
wszędzie z .xauth?
