Ściągnij sobie łatke do vmware:
http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/vmware-any-any-update53.tar.gz
z Vmware 4.0.5 nie bardzo chciała zadziałać ale podmieniłem pliki vmnet.tar i
vmmon.tar i na 2.6.3-mm2 wszystko działa bez problemu
