problem with Perl Modules and 7.2

Hi,

I've been trying to install the perl modules' rpm
(perl-modules-5.6.1-31.i386.rpm) on my linux box running Red Hat 7.2 (perl
5.6.1) but keep getting dependency errors.  Primarily, it says that it
requires libdb-3.1.so and I have libdb-3.2.so (my RH is "out of the box"
with a recent up2date).  Any suggestions on how to resolve this?  I tried
(don't know if this was a good idea or not) linking libdb-3.2.* (i.e. .so,
.1a and .h) to links named libdb-3.1.* in the same directory, but that
didn't work (/sbin/ldconfig didn't even see these files).  I'd appreciate
any help you can give.
