Proszę o pomoc

Bardzo bym prosił o pomoc.
Ściągnołem z ftp://ftp.pld.org.pl/iso/1.0/i586/ plik pld-i586-base.iso potem nagrałem na płyte i uruchomiłem ponownie komputer. Po ustawieniu wszystkich parametrów podczas instalacji gdy rozpoczołem instalacje.  Po chwili pojawiło się coś takiego
    Creating new empty msdos label
    Error: I/O error during read on /dev/hda
    Error: I/O error during write on /dev/hda
    Error: I/O error during read on /dev/hda
    Error: invalid argument during read on /dev/hda

    running parted -s /dev/hda mklabel msdos failed
A gdy ręcznie uruchamiam parted to pojawia się cos takiego:
    Error: Unable to open /dev/hda unrecognised disk label
    The operating system thinks the geometry on /dev/hda is     0/16/63
Bardzo bym prosił o pomoc w rozwiązaniu problemu.
