Hello, 

out of curiosity I looked at your sendmail8.12.2.src.rpm file. 
There are things that surprised me : why do you include 
files/patches that seem no longer required : 
- sendmail-redirect.patch :  a patch to sendmail 8.9.2 redirect.m4
- check.tar : some rulesets/hacks for sendmail 8.8 from 1996-1999
- sendmail-dtelnet.patch :  some sendmail 8.12.0 patch to err.c
for telnet detection (really useful ?)
- Build.m4 :  some  sendmail 8.11 patch to Build (or Build.m4)

I also think tat the patch sendmail-os-paths.patch
can be put instead in some  site.config.m4.

It would be great to add Milter support to your sendmail
(-DMILTER) like the RPM package from wesmo : 
ftp://ftp.wesmo.com/pub/redhat/SRPMS/sendmail-8.12.2-6.src.rpm

I'm not some  PLD user, just some Linux/FreeBSD admin using 
sendmail on various systems.
