Dear Arekm, 

yes indeed it is possible .. but guess who wants raid on lvm ? 

You cannot resize raid 1, 5, and 10 (without destroying data). 
You cannot take a snapshot of raid (even its non-striped you only see on part of it)

I think most people want lvm on raid, dont know what idea is beyond raid over lvm. Maybe its possible check raidtab for any entries and then give do a (pvdisplay) but this would require a vgscan .. guess were r running in a deadlock .. ;-) ..
