  Experienced on 3 different machines:

After upgrading hotplug to the latest available in AC-main, during
bootup hotplug modprobes random crap modules. All 3 machines suffer
from junk messages during bootup notifying me of missing modules and
non-existent hardware, 2 of them have problems running alsa after
hotplug does its voodoo. PCM channel seems to be stuck at 0 volume and
I am no longer able to save/restore mixer configuration using
alsa-init.

Proposed solution:
- prevent hotplug from probing random sound devices
