Looks like poldek is eating locks in rpm database,
try the following:

cd /var/lib/rpm
<edit DB_CONFIG and set set_lk_max_lockers to smaller value, if default 16384 is not triggering the error for you>
db5.3_recover -v
poldek
<install -F *> in poldek
rpmdb: BDB2055 Lock table is out of available locker entries

Bug description:
  1) configure fails due to rpmlib.h removal in rpm 5.4
  2) even after working around missing rpmlib.h there is a lot of errors in pm/rpm because of poldek using internal rpm types
