Mine works (A4Tech OK-520, AMI BIOS, MB ECS). Checked when I booted
Linux before I noticed that my mouse hasn't been pluged in. 'rmmod-
modprobe' and 'service gpm restart' brought my mouse to life after 
'hot-plugin' :)
