I'm not sure which are really supported. vidix contains code for many
archs, mostly ripped from X server or so, but e.g. ppc didn't evel
compile... Maybe it works with kernel helper module; direct access won't
work on ppc because ioBase for MMIO is never set (originally it wasn't
even defined).
