What part of
     BuildRequires: digest(%{SOURCE0}) =  
4ee21e9dcc9b5b6012c23038734e1632
can be hidden in a shorthand macro?

Getting digests out of spec files into a different, automagically  
generated, location that is appended
to a spec file when building is likely a better approach than macros.  
Manually typing digests is annoying.
