this is due the $Log format change which happened with cvs server 1.11 -> 1.12 
change.

it totally sucks, because it loses your local changes, not even 
keeping .#fooo.spec.1.111.1 backups!!!!

so before it's too late, rm -f *.spec and cvs up

afaik just cvs up didn't help, the cvs server had to have new version first.
