LVM2 and uClibc on MIPS

FWIW, I've found a way to fix/workaround the problem: pass
the --disable-o_direct flag to `configure'.  Apparently this is also
needed for glibc (at least Debian's package uses that flag as well on
mips&arm&hppa) and is most likely a problem in the kernel.
