CVS -> something else.

For those not following pld-linux-pl: there was a discussion about
migrating CVS repo to something else. Discussion seems to be (almost)
dead by now. One of the options was to convert whole SPECS to one repo,
but someone said that it's too big to be usable. Another option was to
make one repo per package - I think it's an overkill. What about making
a few repos (lets say one per the first letter of package name)? 
20 odd repos could be fast enough and in the same time easy to handle.
