yeah, seems fine, just it's somewhat buggy twm/xorg (under vbox) that 
lead me to that understanding.
it was all screen was black, even mouse with X cursor did not appear 
until you clicked on root window where twm menu popped up, and after 
that mouse cursor changed to the "default" i'm used to (when no 
customization is made).

so, true, can be turned to suggests.
