imho 5.2 -> 5.3 are BIG changes, some code just breaks with fatal error
5.3 -> 5.4 are removed features
5.4 -> 5.5 no removed features
5.6 -> some deprecated features

but you're fine with naming convention?

php.spec = 5.5
php53.spec = 5.3
php52.psec = 5.2

i.e: switch "main" php to 5.5 now and keep 5.3 in php53 packages for 
some time
