Note that it might be something with our packaging, macros, patches, other? (I'm
clueless about kernel build system). After unpacking vanilla kernel, taking same
.config as in kernel-4.14.0-1 and initial build, I can successfully build nvidia
driver and VirtualBox host driver after pointing them to full vanilla tree. On
builders you can see compilation does not even start -- nvidia attempts linking
before compilation? vbox does not find rule how to build object?
