git with vim

   Hi!

   I don't since when exactly but recently I notice:

   $ git commit -a
   hint: Waiting for your editor to close the file... Vim: Caught deadly
   signal FPE
   Vim: Finished.
   error: vi died of signal 8
                            error: There was a problem with the editor
   'vi'.

     Please supply the message using either -m or -F option.
   glibc?

   After change editor, for example to mcedit everything works.

   Alone VIM works too.
