Co to jest: tocfile, tocfile.lst, tocfile.db

Do czego są potrzebne pliki z subj? Są niemałe (tocfile ma 15MB!), a
zauważyłem że przy każdym użyciu mirrora są one ściągane. Może można by
było je gzipnąć?
