Problem z pendrive

Witam!

Mam problem z odczytem pendrive: nie chce mi lsusb go wykryć, w dmesg
tylko taka informacja po podłączeniu do gniazdka:

usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
hub 4-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 5.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4
hub 4-0:1.0: Cannot enable port 5.  Maybe the USB cable is bad?
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5
usb 4-5: device not accepting address 5, error -71
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6
usb 4-5: device not accepting address 6, error -71

Ma może ktoś pomysły co z tym zrobić ? Moduły wszystkie wymagane są
tj. sd_mod, usb-storage, {uhci,ehci,ohci}_usb itd.. Pod Knoppix-em
wykrywa bez problemów (v.4.0.2).

Kernel i udev - aktualne z AC.
Pendrive to jakiś no-name na USB-2.0 kupiony w "Oszołomie".
