Sorry, but it is not currently possible to install 2.4 kernel out of the
box. nest tree isn't consistent enough yet. However you can let
installer install 2.2 and then do a chroot, and upgrade kernel from nest
(using poldek for example).

And with regard to reiser... hmm.. I guess the easiest solution for now
is do vi /bin/installer-dest look for mkreiserfs and change -v 1 to -v
2. It will be automated as soon at it will be possible to install 2.4
kernel automatically.
