Witam,

Opisywałem już ten problem jako błąd instalatora.  Poradzono mi wtedy,
żebym dociągnął nowy kernel...  Trochę mi zajęło zabranie się do tego,
ale błąd nadal występuje:

$ rpm -q kernel
kernel-2.2.20-18

Przypomnę opis problemu: przy pierwszym (od odpalenia systemu lub
dłuższego czasu niemontowania) montowaniu napędu, system zwisa na
twardo na jakieś 5 minut.  Czas systemowy również się zatrzymuje.

Napęd to jakiś LG 48x; dmesg przedstawia go następująco:

$ dmesg

Dysk mam podłączony do kontrolera HPT366, ale IIRC błąd występował
i wtedy, gdy był podłączony przez ATA33, i gdy był to zupełnie inny
dysk.  Wyciąg z /var/log/messages po wykonaniu eject(1):
